I have recently been taking photographs of peoples names carved on trees in my local woods, Tandle Hills,
in Royton, Lancs. It's amazing how many there are. Some of these names must go back ages, as they are well embedded in the tree bark. Others are fresh and new. I found one with my friends nickname "CLUNK",
I knew it was him, because he plays the drums. I will be publishing these photographs, when I learn how to figure this blog out and I am hopeful that others will send their own photographs to me. This is a beautiful peice of social history that has never been discovered.
